Student Internship & Scholarship Opportunity
The Willingboro Flag Football Association (WFFA) is proud to offer a Student Internship & Scholarship Program for Willingboro resident high school seniors interested in sports management, community leadership, media, and marketing.
This 6-week internship opportunity allows students to gain real-world experience while supporting a youth sports organization that serves our local community. At the completion of the season, three student interns will be selected to receive scholarships in recognition of their commitment, leadership, and impact.
Internship Positions Available
Operations Interns (2 positions)
Operations interns will support the day-to-day logistics of the league and assist with ensuring a smooth experience for athletes, families, and coaches.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with practice and game-day setup and breakdown
- Supporting player check-in and attendance
- Helping coordinate schedules and field logistics
- Assisting coaches and league staff as needed
- Serving as a positive role model for youth athletes
Media & Marketing Intern (1 position)
The media and marketing intern will help document the season and promote WFFA through digital content and storytelling.
Responsibilities may include:
- Capturing photos and videos during practices and games
- Assisting with social media content (Instagram, flyers, reels, etc.)
- Helping tell the story of WFFA through creative media
- Supporting marketing efforts and community engagement
Internship Duration
- 6-week commitment during the WFFA season
- Interns are expected to attend scheduled practices and game days
- Consistent attendance and professionalism are required
Scholarship Award
At the conclusion of the 6-week season, three interns will be awarded scholarships based on:
- Attendance and reliability
- Quality of work and effort
- Leadership and initiative
- Professionalism and attitude
- Overall contribution to WFFA and the community
Scholarship funds may be used toward:
- College or trade school tuition
- Certification programs
- Educational expenses
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Must be a Willingboro Resident
- Be a current high school senior
- Attend a Willingboro-area high school
- Be in good academic standing
- Have an interest in sports, leadership, operations, or media
- Be dependable, coachable, and willing to work with youth
- Be able to commit to the full 6-week program
- Obtain parent/guardian consent if under 18
Application Requirements
Interested students must submit:
- A completed application
