About Us

Willingboro Flag Football Association (WFFA) was founded in 2025 by husband-and-wife duo Ken and Shakirra Howard, proud Willingboro residents and passionate community leaders. As parents, coaches, and youth advocates, we saw a growing need for structured, competitive, and character-building sports programs right here in our hometown. That vision gave birth to WFFA — a place where young athletes can develop their skills, their confidence, and their love for the game.

 

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to create a safe, disciplined, and empowering environment for youth in Willingboro and the surrounding areas to learn and compete in the game of flag football. Whether it’s through our local recreational league or our elite travel program, Vapor, we offer opportunities for boys and girls ages 5–17 to thrive on and off the field.

WFFA is more than just football — it’s family. Our organization is deeply rooted in community involvement. We actively participate in local events, school partnerships, and youth mentorship programs. We believe every child deserves the chance to belong to something greater than themselves, and sports is one of the most powerful tools to teach responsibility, teamwork, and resilience.
